The Ethernet Gateway.

Description: The DMXEtherGate MK2 is the evolution of the DMX etherGate.
This new DMX Ethergate has 2 output or input ports, supports multiple protocols and is configured using any web browser thank to the built-in webpage.

All you need is an "IN" box at the Console, 1 (or more) "OUT" at the Fixture end and an Ethernet network in between.
The DMX EtherGate can work in 2 modes Plug & Play and Configured:

• Plug & Play: Just unpack, power the DMXEtherGate, set the universe number (1 to 6) using the dip switches, Plug in the Ethernet and DMX and that's it !
• Configured: Using any webbrowser, log into the DMXEthergate by typing it's IP address in the address bar. This mode will let you use all the power of the DMXEtherGate engine, you will have access to all the features such as: 256 universes, Remote configuration, Node-Universe Binding ...

Operation (Plug &Play mode) : The DMX EtherGate IN receives DMX512 from the lighting controller, the high speed engine processes the DMX for transmission over ethernet. The packet is then sent using a UDP/IP scheme with a broadcast IP and MAC address. Every node on the same network will receive that packet. The output node will then un pack the DMX data and update it's internal buffers.

Hardware: Like most of our products, the DMX EtherGate hardware fits into a robust metal 9.5 inch 1 Unit rack, 2 Can be mounted side by side to form a standard 19 inch rack, The DMX EtherGate has 4 connectors: DMX512 IN or OUT depending on the model, Ethercon RJ45 and IEC power connector. The DMXEtherGate has an internal mains power supply that will accept any input voltage from 96 to 264V AC
