General Description
Born from the Open DMX USB and DMX USB PRO, the ODE is the industry's first affordable DMX Ethernet gateway. Out of the box, the ODE is configured as an Art-Net output node on universe 0:0 but can be easily and quickly changed using the free NMU tool. This means there are no dip-switches or thumb wheels to worry about on the ODE. The ODE is perfect for distributing DMX signals over Cat5 in a cost effective manner or with wireless ethernet systems.

This Apple iPhone/iPod Touch App "Luminair" allows users to wirelessly control, view and manage intelligent DMX lighting fixtures and consoles, straight from iPhone or iPod touch using Art-Net over a Wi-Fi connection.
It relies on a product like our ODE to get the signal to the dimmers or other DMX enabled equipment you would use it to control. It also works as a sort of DMX tester, reading signal in and analysing it. (Our ODE is able to quickly reconfigure and become input instead of output for this task.) Check it out

Add Extra functionality to your ODE using these plugins. These plugins can be enabled or disabled using NMU (v1.50 & above) The Plugin License Key is unique for each ODE and will only allow you to activate the plugin for that ODE
Plugin: HTP MERGE EXTENDED
Extends the HTP merging of input ethernet streams (Art-Net or ESP) from 2 to 6
Merging is based on a FIFO stack if you have more than 6
Each input is recognized by a different source IP address
Plugin: CrossOver Merge
This plugin takes input from two different Art-Net sources and merges them by using:-

using the data from Source A for all channels starting at 1 and continuing up to and including a certain address (the Merge Threshold).

Then for all addresses over the Merge Threshold, it uses the data from Source B instead. This secondary input is used from there up to 512.
Plugin: DMX Detour
With this plug-in, the ODE listens to an Art-Net source, ignoring any values it receives until the Start Listening Value
That address is then "shifted" to the Start Sending Value for DMX output.
All higher channels are shifted the same number of slots as well, until the maximum address of 512 is reached.
